BUILT TO LAST – Jøtul woodstoves first appeared in Newcastle Emlyn in the 1970’s. Introduced from Norway by Simon Thorpe, they were sold in their hundreds across the UK, particularly to countryside dwellers & farmers who realised the savings that were made by burning logs rather than oil. This is just as relevant today.

Many of these original Jøtul stoves are still providing reliable comfortable heating – parts & servicing being available from Beacon Stoves.

Worldwide research has shown that the average life expectancy of a Jøtul woodstove is 40 years! – proving that it can pay to buy a heavy duty quality product, rather than a succession of poorer alternatives.

This option becomes all the more attractive when you can take advantage of a 17% basic discount & a free follow-up standard stove service during the special offer period 17th – 31st MAY

Call us at Beacon Stoves for advice on all aspects of wood heating systems. We have over 30 years’ experience.

Combining over 30 years of experience and expertise of traditional wood and multi fuel stoves from Beacon Stoves with the specialist knowledge in biomass and solar thermal technology from our sister company 4Wood LLP we have expanded the business, showroom and services to our customers. As an independent advisor, supplier & installer of domestic wood stoves and biomass heating systems, we specialize locally, offering our services to the South And West Wales area.

Our enthusiasm has always been for wood as a locally sourced renewable fuel, with its benefits to the environment and the economy. As these advantages are increasingly realised, we have added to our range of cleanburn wood stoves. These include the ultra efficient tile stoves. A new generation of stoves and boilers are available, some of which are automated and can provide full central heating and hot water to domestic or commercial projects. A choice of wood as fuel in the form of logs, wood pellets and wood chips can be used and grant assistance is available via the Renewable Heat Incentive.

The new contemporary showroom, built with Douglas Fir from our own woodland, is a modern setting for you to experience new models of log burning stoves under fire. These are highly efficient and designed so that they can suit modern ‘air‐tight’ construction with direct combustion air provision. The showroom itself is a prime example of a modern design, low energy building with heating provided by new RIKA wood pellet and log boiler stoves in combination with GASOKOL solar thermal panels.

Our specialist biomass heating team have been installing wood pellet and wood log boiler systems as Approved Installers in the Government’s Clearskies and Low Carbon Building Programme Grant Schemes since 2004 and we are now in the process of MSC accreditation. This gives our customers access to financial incentive from the recently announces Renewable Heat Premium Payment Scheme and continuing the Wood Energy Business Scheme.
