Wood Energy Business Scheme
The Wood Energy Business Scheme (WEBS) is a scheme to encourage the establishment of small to medium scale heat and CHP wood energy market in Wales. Open to businesses who wish to produce, sell or buy woodfuel or supply heat from woodfuel.
Grants available of up to 48.2% of eligible costs towards the capital costs of installing woodfuel heating systems and combined heat and power (CHP) below 5 MWe, and also the cost of installing woodfuel processing equipment.
The second round of this scheme opened for business May 2009.
