A welcoming weekend in the warmth of a new wood heating showroom.

Beacon Stoves of Capel Iwan, Newcastle Emlyn are celebrating 25 years of local service with the opening of an additional new showroom which has been made possible thanks to a Rural Conversion Grant from Carmarthenshire Council. Having cut the ribbon and clinked glasses with all involved in the project, the company extends a warm welcome to all those interested in wood heating – from simple efficient woodstoves to biomass boilers.
Converted from a redundant pigsty this low energy building is constructed from Douglas Fir timber, felled from their own land. Heating and hotwater requirements are met by the latest wood fuelled technologies in combination with solar thermal panels. The systems demonstrate modern convenience and will also benefit from 20 years of payments from the Government’s Renewable Heat Incentive. The project will safeguard four jobs and create another three, as well as providing a workshop for informing & training in the installation of these renewable heating systems.
The owners Ben and Françoise Graham are not only offering some great deals for customers over this opening weekend but they also want to provide practical guidance on the procurement of suitable wood fuel, safe installation and reliable after sales support.
“The new building gives us the opportunity to demonstrate the convenience and low cost of modern wood heating. The government is set to make surprisingly generous contributions to the costs of some domestic systems and businesses can also benefit from several schemes. This should boost our local economy in many ways”
The opening weekend starts on Friday 30th Sept until Sunday 2nd Oct from 10am to 4pm, in Capel Iwan near Newcastle Emlyn. For any further enquires please contact Beacon Stoves on 01559 371058 or visit www.beaconstoves.co.uk
